5 Things You Absolutely Don’t Need To Pack In Your Carry-On
Those who travel often probably have the process of packing down to a science. And yet, you may just be surprised to learn that some of your “go-to” items aren’t all that necessary. So before your next flight, be sure to familiarize yourself with the following 5 items that absolutely don’t belong in your suitcase or carry-on:

Sure, it's nice to have your laptop and phone with you for convenience's sake. But you probably don't need your camera, ipad, and whatever gadgets you may have acquired. Without these tools, you'll also be less distracted and will appreciate your surroundings more.

While you may have a preferred brand of shampoo and soap, these things can almost always be found in your accommodation. In the chance that you may be staying somewhere else, you can always pick them up at the local drug store once you've arrived.

If you're traveling for business purposes, chances are you'll be in a hotel with a hairdryer available. Otherwise, think long and hard about whether or not this item is totally necessary. Chances are, you won't miss it at all.

For a short trip, you'd be surprised by how few items of clothing you need. You can always mix and match basic items to create a completely new look. Insider tip: it always helps to wear some of your bulkier and heavier clothes on the airplane rather than carry them along.

This is probably the most over-packed item in travel. Too many pairs of shoes can really weigh you down, especially considering you only need two pairs of them (max!). A comfortable pair is necessary, and perhaps a nicer pair for when your attire calls for it. Plus, the fewer shoes you pack, the less decisions you'll have to make.
