Nothing says adventure like the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. These jagged mountain peaks are some of the most iconic in the world, and climbing them proves to be an adventure. While not everyone is equipped to climb these high-altitude peaks, some of the treks are more approachable than others. In fact, the tallest U.S. Rocky Mountain, known as Mount Elbert, is easier than some of the other famous peaks in the Rocky Mountain State.
