Geary Lake Falls is the tallest and one of the most scenic waterfalls in Kansas. Located in Geary State Fishing Lake and Wildlife Area, these falls are some of the most impressive in the state due to their height, water flow, and picturesque background. And since it’s only a short walking distance to reach Geary Lake Falls, this is an ideal outing for the entire family.
To reach Geary Lake Falls, set your GPS for Junction City, Kansas. If you’re driving from Topeka, you’ll need to drive for about an hour on 1-70 West.
The falls at this stunning waterfall stand tall at 35 feet high.
If you're brave enough to hike to the top of the waterfall, this will be your view from that vantage point. However, since it'll be slippery, remember to wear good hiking shoes.
