Discover a unique Vrbo on Goat Island near Charleston, accessible only by boat, offering a relaxing and memorable vacation experience.
Along the Intracoastal Waterway between the Isle of Palms and Mount Pleasant is a place called Goat Island. It’s one of the smallest inhabited islands in the region and is accessible by boat only, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. And there’s a really neat, unique Goat Island Vrbo near Charleston that promises a lasting experience you could never forget.
It will take a little planning and preparation having only a boat for transportation, but once you're here, it's like paradise where you can truly slow down, unwind, and relax! If you don't have a boat, you can rent one from a business nearby or let the Vrbo owner know when you make your reservation, and a ride to and from the Island for check-in and check-out can be arranged.
Inside you'll find a very open space where the living area flows right into the kitchen and dining areas.
The kitchen is fully equipped with several new appliances, so you'll have everything you need for cooking all of your meals while here if needed.
With two bedrooms, six people can be accommodated. There is also an additional apartment available for rent that sleeps two more people (adults only).
There's a nice sunroom space with a ping-pong table. Giant Jenga, hook and hoop, and other games are also available!
The outside spaces have been set up to allow for plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. The wrap-around deck provides a mixture of shade and sunny areas for relaxing.
The 140-foot dock leads to a covered pier head and dock that floats during high tide.
Launch a kayak from the kayak ramp attached to the floating dock. Two double and two single kayaks are available for your use.
There's so much to do right here at the home ... you could stay here the entire time or venture out and explore. Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant, and Charleston are all within decent traveling distance, and the Isle of Palms Marina is just a one-minute boat ride from Goat Island. But when your vacation comes to a close, you'll want to leave your own personal mark on the back of the smiley face at the house!
The owners of The Smiley Face House have provided the opportunity for you to paint your own individual theme for your stay. Whether you're here for a special occasion such as a bachelorette weekend ...
... over a holiday weekend ...
... or for some good old-fashioned family fun, this is a really neat way to end your vacation!
