You can reach it via a narrow trail along scenic marshlands and forest. A spectacular view of the beach opens up at the end of the mile-long dirt path.

This is one of the most secluded swimming spots on Cape Cod and the natural beauty here is unrivaled. Think silvery beach grass, long stretches of smooth sand and supremely climbable rocks and boulders. It’s an experience that’s pretty different from many of the larger, more popular public beaches on the Cape.

One thing that makes this spot special is that Off Road Vehicle permits are available for use on the beach. This means that you can drive your SUV right on the sand if you have the proper permissions. This beach is also close to many beautiful walking paths and trails through the woods and meadows of Crowe’s Pasture Conservation Area. Though you can’t bring your dogs onto Dennis public beaches between Memorial Day and Labor Day, you can walk your furry friends on these paths.

Of course, its hidden location doesn’t come without a few drawbacks. Parking near the beach is extremely limited during the summer season and you won’t have much luck finding a spot unless you arrive early in the day. Your best bet would be to park a ways away and bike or walk to the beach. There are also no public restrooms, so plan ahead.
