The next time you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, family, and pet-friendly place for vacation, you’re going to want to consider Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. It's definitely one of the best campgrounds in South Carolina and you will not believe everything there is to do and the beauty of this place!

Editor’s Note: This resort was previously called the Carolina Pines RV Resort. Along with a new name, there are some wonderful new additions!

Welcome to Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach!

It is located in Conway, which is only about a 20-minute drive from the heart of beautiful Myrtle Beach.

As you can see in this photo, there are scores of upscale back-in and pull-through RV hookup sites available at the resort.

There are different types of cottages as well, including some that are wheelchair-accessible.

Your four-legged best friends are also welcome in the cottages so you can visit and keep the entire family together!

There are also doggy parks at the resort. My boy absolutely loved running through the tunnel!

During the cooler season, the resort has a heated pool.

There is also a relaxing lazy river if you'd still like to get in the water.

There's also a waterpark that's open in-season with 32-foot-tall speed water slides!

We think it is actually one of the most fun waterparks in South Carolina! In fact, when my family visited during the spring, part of the waterpark was open and my kids had such a blast.

Take some time to enjoy an 18-hole miniature golf course game during your stay.

The arcade is a great place for rainy-day fun ...

... as well as miniature bowling!

Want some other options? How about a game of pickleball? Or cornhole? There are billiards tables for a game of pool, too.

Or you can always just plop down in a swing for a bit and relax in the warmth of the sun.

The resort offers special activities and seasonal experiences at different times throughout the year.

One of these is the popular Wine and Design event. Of course, this is for adults only and a great place to enjoy a glass of wine without having to drive anywhere afterward!

And there's a general store on-site if you happen to forget something when packing.
