These campsites are a few of our favorite places to enjoy waterfront camping in New Hampshire. Each one has easy access to the water.

1. Scenic View Campground, Warren

Located at the base of the White Mountains this family-owned camping experience offers riverside sites as well as lots of fun activities away from the river. Everything from camping sites to deluxe cabins line the Baker River, making this both beautiful and fun.

2. Lake Francis State Park, Pittsburg

This beautiful state park located in the north woods also offers some of the best camping in the state. The park is located all around the Connecticut Lakes so water access is not a problem. Be sure to rent a kayak to make the most of your close proximity!

3. Keyser Pond Campground, Henniker

Located on Keyser Pond, this family-friendly camping experience offers some of the best water access around. You can use one of their many canoes or rowboats or sit back and enjoy one of their two sandy beaches. Those who love to fish will find plenty of opportunities here, too. 4. Long Island Bridge Campground, Moultonborough

Spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee might just be a requirement in New Hampshire. There's no better place to enjoy it than at this campground right on the lake. You can spend your days boating or swimming and then come back to dry land to take part in the many fun activities offered away from the lake. 5. Foothills Family Campground, Tamworth

This beauty is family-owned and operated so you can be sure they know exactly what it takes to make sure your family has a great time. There are seasonal sites, as well as RV and tent sites. 6. Jigger Johnson Campground, Conway

This campground is located right off the Kanc, which means it's right in the heart of the White Mountains. Surrounded by beauty, this spot offers some of the most quintessential views in the state. And don't even get us started on how peaceful it is to fall asleep to the sound of the river!

7. Swanzey Lake Camping Area, Swanzey

Sitting directly on a spring-fed lake, the Swanzey Lake Camping area is the perfect spot for those who plan to spend the majority of their summer in the water. You can choose from tent spots, RV parking, or one of their cabins.

8. Glen Ellis Campground, Glen

When you picture riverside camping the picturesque setup at Glen Ellis might be exactly what you imagine! Guests can enjoy both the Saco River and the Ellis River. And the riverside firepits at many of the sites are what camping dreams are made of!
