But when winter rolls around, we love to give a shout-out to our favorite seasonal dining adventure, the Sleigh Ride Dinner at Lone Mountain Ranch. Lone Mountain Ranch is located in beautiful Big Sky, and it's a year-round destination for Montanans and out-of-staters alike.

The property features cozy accommodations, a fine dining restaurant, and even wedding packages.

But during the winter, there's another great reason to come here: the sleigh ride dinners.

This annual experience seems to get more popular every year.

The experience starts at 6:30 p.m., when you'll meet your fellow diners at a designated spot.

The sleigh departs at 6:50 and takes you to a secluded cabin. As you leave the lodge, you'll love how quiet and peaceful your surroundings become.

At last, you'll arrive at the lodge's North Fork Cabin, which is decked out in lanterns and candlelight.

You'll soon be treated to a full prime rib dinner, complete with tasty sides and dessert.

This is such a fantastic experience to share with your family or a group of close friends.

But don't worry, you'll make friends with everyone in your group before the night is through.

As you feast on your prime rib, you'll be treated to live music from a local cowboy musician.

The ambiance here really is as wonderful as the food.

The evening wraps up after dessert, and you'll be returned to the lodge by sleigh around 9:30 p.m.

Then you can either go home or enjoy a relaxing stay right here at the lodge.
