The Remote Cabin Restaurant Just Outside of Pittsburgh That Serves Up The Most Delicious Food
All that golden sunshine of spring just makes life so much more carefree. Looking for something fun and relaxing to do on a lovely spring day? Well, hop in the car and set the GPS. Destination: Harmony, PA. Tucked away in the woods, off of a winding country road, The Log Cabin Inn, a remote restaurant near Pittsburgh, promises a cozy setting for dining out.
The Log Cabin Inn sits, surrounded by lush trees, about 40 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.
Admire the Colonial decor of the cozy log cabin restaurant. In fact, the popular restaurant is actually built around the shell of an original 1800s log cabin.
Grab a seat in the comfy interior. Or, for sweeping views of the woods surrounding the restaurant, request a seat in the heated patio.
Start your meal with a salad or an appetizer, such as homemade chips, stuffed hot peppers, or fried calamari. The Log Cabin Inn also features a "Build-Your-Own" salad option.
Or, go straight to the entree. What are you in the mood for? A hearty sandwich? Flatbread? A burger?
Of course, you'll also have plenty of other entrees from which to choose. Try the Shepherd's pie, salmon and crab, or filet mignon. Entrees come with one or two sides, such as sweet potato, baked potato, or homemade soup.
Bringing the kids along? Kids can choose from a range of dishes on the kids menu. Mini corn dogs, grilled cheese, and and top sirloin are among the options.
The Log Cabin Inn is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday's hours are 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
