There are quite a few waterfall hikes in Oklahoma. At Natural Falls State Park in Colcord, you’ll find the 77-foot-tall Dripping Springs. You can access this beauty via a 1.1-mile loop trail. Just be aware that there are some steep sections. If this isn’t for you, skip the hike and view the falls from the overlook or the bridge. The 77-foot-tall Turner Falls can be found in Turner Falls Park in Davis. Not only are the falls a sight to see, but it’s also an awesome waterfall swimming hole in Oklahoma. It can be accessed from a moderate 3.5-mile loop trail.

What is the weather like in Oklahoma in the summer?

Oklahoma is a southern state, so it gets both hot and humid in the summer. Warm weather averages from about the beginning of June until mid-September, with more humidity in the eastern and southern areas of the state. During this time, expect the average temperature to be about 85. July is the hottest month of all, with the average topping off at 93 degrees.
