Bighorn lake is a reservoir located in the northwestern portion of Wyoming in Kane. This 5,500-acre lake is one of the best fishing lakes in Wyoming for bass, trout, walleye, crappie, catfish or panfish.
Glendo Reservoir is located in the central eastern portion of the state in Glendo. This 12,000-acre lake is a great fishing spot for trout, walleye, crappie, catfish and panfish. The Wyoming state record white crappie weighed in at 2 lbs. 7 oz. was caught in the Glendo Reservoir.
Grayrocks Reservoir is located in the central eastern portion of the state near Fort Laramie. This 1,800-acre lake is a great spot for bass, walleye, crappie, catfish and panfish.
Guernsey Reservoir is located in the central eastern part of the state in Guernsey State Park. This 2,400-acre lake is a great fishing spot for bass, walleye, crappie, catfish and panfish.

North Platte River is another great fishing spot especially for trout and catfish. The state record Flathead catfish weighed in at 22 lbs. 7 oz. and came out of the North Platte River.
