What you need is a secret beach that isn't on most people's radar, and the one at Glendo Reservoir fits the bill. It's a smaller beach with about 2 miles of sandy shoreline and trees along the back. Spending a day of solitude at this little beach is a sure-fire way to make your summer complete.

Glendo Reservoir is about 76 miles southeast of Casper just off I-25.

The reservoir is in Glendo State Park so it doesn't get as much traffic as it might if it were in one of Wyoming's more prominent national parks.

The beach may not be huge compared to others in the state, but it's big enough for some summer fun.
