Bigfork Is The One Christmas Town In Montana That’s Simply A Must Visit This Season
When the Thanksgiving leftovers have been eaten and the last leaf has fallen from the trees, our thoughts turn to Christmas. And every Christmas, we love to give a shout-out to Montana’s Christmas town, Bigfork. The town gets more festive every year, and we love it.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

People come from all over the state to see it all decked out in December.

They spend the weekend decking the halls (and storefronts) of the entire downtown area.

The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. downtown, and guests can meet Santa until 8 p.m.

A Christmas Story is playing at Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre later this month, and the 11th Annual Country Christmas Bazaar is on December 7, 2019.

The Bigfork Shopping Spectacular on December 11 is the perfect time to meet local business owners and buy some unique local treasures. Stop by any time between 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

From wine strolls to cozy community bonfires, the community really embraces the season.

It really is worth making the trip.
