Local elves gather every November to decorate the downtown area to prepare for the annual Bigfork Holiday Parade of Lights, which takes place during the first week of December.
Most of the local businesses get in on the trend, especially the ones that are located downtown.

They host an annual holiday wine stroll in early December, and they do a lot to support local businesses throughout the holiday season.
There's never a bad time to visit Bigfork, but Christmas feels especially enchanting here.
They leave the decor up through New Year's Day, so if you can't make it for Christmas, you can always go for the Annual Polar Bear Plunge on January 1 (brrrr).
