The Artisan Cheese Festival In Missouri Is About The Cheesiest Event You Can Experience
Cheese lovers have so many ways to indulge in cheesy goodness – from pizza topped with extra cheese to hearty helpings of ooey-gooey mac and cheese. If you love cheese, you won’t want to miss the Artisan Cheese Festival in Missouri, a one-of-a-kind event held one epic weekend in May. Even better, you can pair the cheese at this inaugural festival with wine from McKelvey Vineyards.
A weekend of cheesy goodness awaits at McKelvey Vineyards in New Haven, the hosts of the Artisan Cheese Festival, set for May 20-22, 2022.
Partnering with Cheesemaker Tom Blathford of Cool Cow Cheese, the vineyard hopes the inaugural festival will be the first of many celebrating the state’s cheesemakers and artisans.
Saturday will showcase approximately 50 types of cheese, so you’re sure to find your favorites and even discover a few new favorites. Sample the cheeses. Vote for those you like best then buy some to take home with you.
Vendors will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., but stick around for the evening’s festivities, too. The evening will feature a Cheese and Spirits Crawl from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Be sure to stop by Sunday, too, when the star of the festival is grilled cheese. Treat yourself to a delicious sandwich and wine as you enjoy the live entertainment.
