Every Spring, Thousands Flock To This Missouri Town For The State’s Largest Cherry Blossom Festival
Spring brings so much beauty with it – from the return of the ruby-throated hummingbirds to the blossoming of the flowers, like the cherry blossoms. When most people think of cherry blossoms, they likely think of the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. However, there’s a beloved annual cherry blossom festival in Missouri, too. If it’s not already, you might want to start a brand new spring tradition by visiting.
Celebrate the return of spring and the breathtaking beauty of cherry blossoms when the annual Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival returns to Marshfield from April 27-30, 2023.
A full menu of family-friendly events is planned throughout the weekend. The festival kicks off by paying tribute to veterans of World War II with the Patriot Breakfast at Son-Rise Christian Church.
Numerous celebrities will be in Marshfield to celebrate the cherry blossoms this spring. Celebrities scheduled to appear include Kim Lankford ("Knots Landing"), Jerry Mathers ("Leave It To Beaver"), and Alison Arngrim ("Little House on the Prairie").
The weekend will also feature an assortment of family-friendly activities and vendors, selling everything from crafts to books. Bring a hearty appetite, too, because you’ll have plenty of delicious food from which to choose.
