Carve out time, especially if you’re a fan of the past, for a visit to the Pioneer Heritage Festival of the Ozarks in Missouri, an epic two-day, family-friendly event.
The Fourth Annual Pioneer Heritage Festival of the Ozarks returns on October 1-2, 2021 at the Foxtrotters Showgrounds and World Headquarters in Ava. Hours run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days.
Featuring a full menu of activities, the festival offers free admission. However, guests are welcome to leave a donation at the gate. (The suggested donation is $5 for each adult.)
The festival offers an inspiring glimpse at how the pioneers lived long before modern conveniences. You can even learn about the canning process, so you can save money while preserving your own food.
