Go Crystal Hunting On More Than 200 Acres At Haunted Ridge Rocks In Missouri
Most of us probably, at one time or another, pretended to go digging for gold when we were kids. We’d dig through the dirt and, when we found a pretty rock, we would call our friends over to show them our finds. If you’ve ever dreamed of diggings for gems, circle the first weekend in November on your calendar for a visit to a special crystal digging event hosted by Haunted Ridge Rocks in Missouri.
Haunted Ridge Rocks in Cadet will host an epic three-day crystal digging event at its 200-acre site from November 5-7, 2021. Admission is open to the public and is free.
However, you will have to pay for the crystals you uncover. A five-gallon bucket brimming with crystals costs just $35. Fill as many buckets as you want during your visit.
The attraction will have five-gallon buckets for sale for $3. However, you may want to bring your own buckets for each member of your party, just in case the buckets sell out.
A special machine will be used to sift the ground and dirt, which means you’ll have the chance to find even more quartz crystal that’s hiding near the surface.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the November dig. Haunted Ridge Rocks often hosts events. You can also make an appointment to visit on the weekend, currently the only time it is open.
