Stanley Lake in Idaho is one of the most beautiful areas in the Gem State. While this lake is delightful for a single day trip, it is also a wonderful camping destination. However, before you head to the Stanley Lake Campground, there are a few things you should know:

  • This campground offers 19 campsites. Reservations are accepted and strongly encouraged.
  • Most of the campsites have partial shade, so you may want to bring a canopy or additional shade for those hot and sunny days.
  • Next to campsites three and four in this campground, you will find a scenic overlook. Here, you will find incredible views of Stanley Lake and McGowan Peak.
  • This campground sits at an elevation of 6,500 feet, so prepare accordingly for chilly nights.
  • Stanley Lake Campground is a seasonal campground and is only available from May to September each year.
