Jump Creek Falls is an inspiring 60-foot waterfall located near Marsing. This waterfall and swimming hole has become a popular summertime destination and for good reason — it’s hard to find anything that compares to it in Idaho.

To enjoy Jump Creek Falls, you will have to put forth a little effort. To reach this waterfall, you must explore the Jump Creek Falls Trail, which is a 0.6-mile out-and-back hike.

Make sure to bring plenty of water and lots of sunscreen as there is very little shade along this trail.
This hike will take you through the Owyhee Wilderness. The trail is quite easy with very little elevation gain. It is the perfect trail for the entire family.

However, be aware that there is a creek crossing. While generally quite easy, depending on the weather and the time of year, this could become much more difficult and dangerous, particularly for younger children. Also, always be on the lookout for poison ivy that grows along this trail!
