This strange dessert may have non-Idahoans scratching their heads, but it’s an iconic sweet treat for anybody who has lived in the Gem State for a while. For those who haven’t had an ice cream potato, don’t worry. It’s not actually made from potatoes! But you definitely have to try it for yourself, so head to the birthplace of this iconic dessert where you can get it on the Westside Drive-In menu. It is definitely worth a taste!
