As part of the Lake Apopka Loop Trail, this magnificent overlook showcases the natural beauty of central Florida from above the treetops.
Green Mountain Scenic Overlook in Florida is one of the few accessible locations in the state that offers views of the surrounding area from high above the ground.
There is good news for visitors who don't feel like hiking, but who are looking to enjoy some views. The high point is at the entrance to the trailhead, with the overlook less than 150-feet away.
Also if you’re coming from the trailhead, you can simply climb up the steps and get to the overlook, versus approaching it from above near the parking lot.
