There’s no denying that Florida is a totally kid-friendly destination. After all, the Sunshine State is home to the happiest place on earth, Disney World. But if your idea of an excellent family outing involves less of the amusement park and more nature, we’ve got some good news for you: Florida has tons of kid-friendly hikes for you and your little ones to enjoy. One of our favorites is the Anhinga Trail, an easy, 1.5-mile hike that promises loads of adventure and scenery. This short-and-sweet hike will take you through the famous Florida Everglades. Better yet, this lovely trail features both a paved walkway and a boardwalk. As you stroll down this gentle trail, you’ll love the opportunity to stop and admire the surrounding scenery.
