This Outdoor Water Playground In Montana Will Be Your New Favorite Destination

The official start of summer is (finally) on the horizon here in Montana, and we're already to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. And whether you have children or you're a kid at heart, you should head to Columbia Falls on one of the hottest days a year and cool off at Big Sky Waterpark, where you'll find so much more than a few simple slides.

Big Sky Waterpark is Montana's largest of its kind.

It has a whopping 10 waterslides, so there's at least one for every age group.

The four fun Twister Slides twist and turn into a 4-foot pool at the bottom.

This is the view from the top of the Shredder XTreme, a one-of-a-kind family thrill ride.

Looks pretty thrilling to us.

There are also plenty of other things to do here for those who would rather stay dry.

There's a climbing wall, go karts, mini golf, and a beautiful antique carousel.

The BBQ areas and picnic areas are perfect for celebrating summer birthdays or other get-togethers.

And the onsite gift shop is just plain convenient.

This year's party will kick off on June 9 with a Customer Appreciation Week.

The waterpark usually stays open through Labor Day weekend, weather permitting.
