Carpenter Bros Emporium of Wonderful Whatnots is in Ellisville, a small town in Jones County. It's the place to go when you're in the area and looking for MS antiques.

Also known as The Emporium, the massive “vintage and antique shop” features two floors off, you guessed it, antiques and vintage goods. Its size and massive inventory have made it one of the most well-known antique shops in Mississippi.

This two-story antique store opened its doors in 2017.

And since then, the inventory has grown to include just about anything you can think of. Hence, making Carpenter Bros Emporium one of the best antique shops in Mississippi.

There are vintage games, toys, artwork, records, VHS tapes, clothing, and lots, lots more.

And unlike most antique stores of its size, it's well organized. Plus, it’s filled with quality goods, rather than the unwanted rubbish found at some antique stores in Mississippi and beyond.

In 2021, four years after opening, The Emporium launched its on-site restaurant called Hole in the Wall.

Tables are scattered throughout the store, making for what I think is one of the most unique and memorable dining experiences in the state.

The one-of-a-kind setting is paired with a mouthwatering menu of blue plate specials and gourmet burgers. Yum!
