It’s An Epic City Adventure Riding A High-Speed Thrill Boat In Massachusetts
Are you planning a summer trip to Boston and looking for something new to do? Why not take a break from walking tours, guided bus rides, and museums and try something a bit more adventurous? If this sounds good, I have just the attraction for you. The Codzilla high-speed boat ride is a thrilling (and wet) experience that you just have to try!
Codzilla is a 2,800-horsepower boat that is decorated to look like a scary sea monster. It is docked at Boston’s Long Wharf right next to the New England Aquarium and across the street from Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
A few years ago my daughter and I booked a ride on Codzilla. It was so much fun that we plan to do it again.
Each guest is provided with a waterproof bag and a poncho. Even though the ponchos aren’t very fashionable, they are very much a necessity on this ride!
When the boat heads into the harbor, passengers are in for a wild ride. Music blares loudly from speakers while the captain zips through the Boston waters at speeds up to 40 miles per hour.
As the boat makes intentional turns and twists, everyone onboard gets soaked by giant waves and covered with sea spray.
This is the best part of the whole ride!
A ride on Codzilla is a fantastic way to bring some adventure to any city trip and a great way to cool off on a hot summer day.
Have you experienced the thrill of Codzilla? If so, please tell us all about your experience. To book your ride or find out more information, please visit the Viator website. While you are in the area, be sure to check out the new adaptive playground at Boston City Hall Plaza, on the other side of Faneuil Hall.
