For years, locals have whispered stories about what happens in this here after the sun goes down. They most commonly revolve around mysterious, glowing orbs of light floating through the gorge.

If floating lights aren’t creepy enough, older tales claim that the tiny, deep caves pockmarking the sandstone walls are actually home to gnomes, trolls, and other woodland cryptids. Some visitors swear they’ve heard disembodied whispers echoing off the walls when they stand alone at the bottom of the bowl.
