This year is the 53rd anniversary of the Way of Lights at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in southern Illinois.

It is an indoor and outdoor holiday event that lasts throughout the season.

The event runs from November 17 until December 31 with activities going on between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.

It features a wonderland of decorated trees, a drive-thru light display as well as a walk-through one outside, choir performances, theatre performances, and much more.

This all-in-one holiday event is bound to get you in the mood for Christmas if you aren't already. This is a great place to bring the entire family.

Memories to last a lifetime will be made at this excellent event. It is free to show up, but activities are priced individually.

Additional activities include carriage rides, camel and pony rides, a petting zoo, a dinner buffet, a Lego display, food trucks, a wreath auction, face painting, a puppet show, and so much more.
