The Wyoming Restaurant That’s One Of The Most Unique In America
A lot of times when you want a nice meal, the tendency is to look for a nice safe traditional dining experience. But sometimes, it’s nice to step outside of the box and try something a little different. That’s why you need to check out this one restaurant in Wyoming. This restaurant is one of the most unique in America because it’s so un-American.

For a memorable meal, be sure to try Stiegler's Austrian Restaurant and Copper Bar. It's been a favorite with the locals since 1983.

This Austrian/Continental restaurant is located at The Aspens on Teton Village Road (3535 Moose Wilson Road) in Jackson. Ironically, the setting for the restaurant is representative of the food it serves. In fact, Jackson just so happens to be the sister city to Lienz, Austria.

The restaurant excels when it comes to quality food, service and ambiance. You can enjoy authentic Austrian cuisine while relaxing in front of a cozy fireplace in an Old World atmosphere.

The chef/owner, Peter Stiegler, is originally from Lienz, Austria and is the ultimate chef and host.

Not only do they serve delicious food, they also serve some of the best beer in the state.

The restaurant is closed on Mondays but is open Tuesdays through Sundays. The Sundeck and Fireside Bar open at 5:00 p.m. and dinner is served from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The menu features traditional Austrian fare such as veal, pork and wild game. They also serve entrees influenced by Hungary, Italy and Czechoslovakia.

Peter knows the presentation of the food is just as important as the taste.

You might want to try his Pork Tenderloin Wellington with spatzle, red cabbage and vegetables.....

And you definitely need to sample Peter's signature Apfel Strudel.
