8 Awesome Things You Can Do In Wisconsin When It’s Raining
This has been a pretty rainy year! Rain can definitely ruin some plans, particularly if you’re planning on spending a good chunk of the day outside. But never fear–there are plenty of really fun things you can do in Wisconsin when it’s raining. Here are eight great options:
1. Milwaukee Art Museum
This museum is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. The museum is currently undergoing a major overhaul, which will be finalized fall of this year. The collections are excellent and cover a broad range of interests. There are also always exciting exhibitions.
2. Great Wolf Lodge (Wisconsin Dells)
Rain shouldn't prevent you from enjoying a water park? Luckily, Great Wolf Lodge offers an awesome water park experience. You'll still get plenty wet, though. But you'll be safe at least!
3. Stout Adventures (Menomonie)
Challenge yourself with two climbing walls of 30 feet tall. There are 11 ropes with 50 routes. No experience is necessary, so here is your chance to get into rock climbing.
4. Wizard Quest (Wisconsin Dells)
This may be the closest you'll ever get to Hogwarts. Solve puzzles and use your nerd power to save the day.
5. Evolution Milwaukee
Who doesn't love a spirited game of ping pong? But what if you could play ping pong and eat gourmet food at the same time? Evolution Milwaukee will make those dreams come true.
6. Vitnese Goldland (Madison)
There are outdoors mini golf courses...but take the fun inside and golf on the 18-hole mini-green. The mini-lake inside has remote-control boats.
7. Antlers Archery (Weston)
Unleash your inner Katniss Everdeen and practice your bow skills. You can do so totally indoors at any of the 28 shooting stations.
8. Club 53 Bar and Bowling (Amery)
These lanes have been here since 1953 and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon. The quaint four lanes are a boatload of fun. If you sit at the bar, you can get a peek at the lane action.
