1. Landrum

Nestled right on the border of North and South Carolina, Landrum’s population hovers right around 2,500 residents, which makes it the perfect small town to explore in the fall. Downtown Landrum’s walkability is perfect for an autumn stroll, and you’ll find plenty of local restaurants and antique shops to keep you entertained. This picturesque little mountain town boasts beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain views, and it's very close to Campbell’s Covered Bridge—the sole-surviving covered bridge in South Carolina.
