Summers are so crowded in Whitefish, Montana, that you'll swear you're in a much bigger city when you visit. For a small city (the population is less than 8,000), Whitefish has some fantastic attractions and amenities.

That said, you should also escape the little city for a while and explore the surrounding area, which is stunning when it's all dusted with snow.
