The Only Place Where You Can Have A Tropical Vacation Without Ever Leaving Montana
Marina Cay Resort in Bigfork Bay offers waterfront accommodations, a seasonal Tiki Bar, and live music, making it a perfect summer destination.
Summer is coming, Montana -- we promise. And when it does, we'll be ready to shed our winter layers and have some fun in the sun.
Of course, it would be ideal if we could all hop a flight to our favorite tropical destination whenever we craved some sunshine, but that's not overly realistic... besides, Montana is so gorgeous in the summertime that it would be a shame to leave. Enjoy the best of both world and head to Bigfork instead.
The beautiful Marina Cay Resort is located at 180 Vista Lane at the edge of Bigfork Bay.
They feature privately owned waterfront studios and condos that are rented to the public.
But the resort is more than just a place to rest your head. It's a place to hang out, relax, and have a meal and a cocktail...
... especially at the onsite Tiki Bar.
The Tiki Bar is open seasonally, but that's OK -- after all, this is Montana, not Hawaii.
Somehow relaxing on the patio with a Mai Tai isn't as fun in February here as it is in July.
The Tiki Bar sits facing the marina, adjacent to the pool.
You can enter through the resort or dock your boat and grab a seat.
They serve casual eats like the Bay BLT...
... and, of course, there's a full bar.
You;ll find drink specials here all summer long.
Every Friday, you can also enjoy live music beginning at 6 p.m.
Does this look inviting or what?
It's going to be a great summer.
The Marina Cay Resort is a wonderful place to stay. And if you want even more tropical-themed fun, head over to The Raven, which is only a few miles away.
