3. Go whitewater rafting on the Gallatin River
While it's true that you can go whitewater rafting in other states, there's something special about The Gallatin, which is one of the premier river rafting destinations in the west. And with companies like Montana Whitewater Rafting, you know you'll be in good hands.
4. Walk the swinging bridge over the Kootenai River to Kootenai Falls
This isn't so bad... unless you're afraid of heights.

Since 1975, hundreds of Montanans and out-of-state guests have enjoy the sleigh ride dinners at this beautiful ranch. Guests load up in a horse drawn sleigh and are taken on a ride to a family-style prime rib dinner illuminated by oil lanterns.
8. Stand at the top of Bighorn Canyon
Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area is incredible, and it's so unforgettable that you'll only have to see it once in a lifetime (though you'll want to go as often as you can).
9. Enroll in the Royal Tine’s Camp Cook School in Philipsburg
Learn to cook tasty meals using only the essentials, enjoy feasting on freshly caught fish (caught by you), cornbread and baked beans cooked over an open fire. A classic culinary school this is not.
