You’ll Fall In Love With This Charming River Town In Montana

Montana has so many adorable towns that you could spend months exploring all of them. The town we're featuring today is absolutely charming - and it's located right on the Missouri River. Take a look!

Downtown Great Falls is full of historic buildings.

The town was incorporated in 1888. Today, it has around 60,000 residents and is Montana's third largest town.

Spend some time wandering through the antique shops, cafes, and bars here.

Most of these buildings were constructed in the late 1800s.

The old Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Train Depot was completed in 1909.

This building is on the National Register of Historic Places; it's used for office space now.

The Missouri River cuts right through town.

Ryan Dam is truly stunning.

It's located about 10 miles north of downtown Great Falls.

Ryan Island Park is a nice spot to relax and enjoy a picnic while watching the falls.

Cross the suspension bridge right over the river to get to the park.

Giant Springs is one of the largest springs in the United States.

The springs maintain a temperature of 56 degrees; 156 million gallons of water flow from them every day.

Giant Springs State Park is located at 4803 Giant Springs Road.

Make sure to visit the C.M. Russell Museum, located at 1217 4th Avenue North.

The museum houses some incredible western art, focusing primarily on the art of Charles Marion Russell.

The museum complex also includes a few other structures, including Charles Russell's Log Cabin Studio.

Gibson Park is a pretty little oasis.

Feed the ducks and geese, go for a stroll, play and the playground and enjoy a picnic.
