Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Blue Bonnet Cafe has been serving up hearty, home-cooked meals since 1929.
For breakfast, you'll see classics like omelets, pancakes, and biscuits with gravy, as well as combination platters for those with the biggest appetites.
The diner also serves lunch, and the grub is just like mom used to make.
Southern staples like chicken-fried steak and liver with onions will whisk your taste buds back to simpler times, and daily specials printed on an old-fashioned chalkboard tell stories of a bygone era.
One simply doesn't visit Blue Bonnet Cafe without trying a slice (or two) of their famous pie.
