In 1913, the Weigl family immigrated from Germany to America. With only $20 in his pocket, Fortunat Weigl paved his way by creating a bustling iron works business. This little tin building has seen its ups and downs, and it was tragically struck by a massive flood in 1935. Despite these hardships, the Weigl family persevered and eventually crafted pieces for celebrities like Lucille Ball and Bob Hope. The Weigls retired from iron-making in 1977, and the building was refurbished into a BBQ joint the year after.
