4. Henry Horton State Park - Chapel Hill

Located on the beautiful Duck River, Henry Horton State Park may not be a "glamping" spot but it does have a newly renovated camp store and a beautiful location that helps offset the grungy aspect of camping. 5. Tims Ford State Park - Winchester

Tims Ford State Park is made up of 2,200 acres on the shore of the ever-gorgeous Tims Ford Lake, which is great for boating and water recreation.
