This Unique Treehouse Rental is Hidden Away in South Carolina

Perched above a Catfish Creek and surrounded by hardwoods, this beloved treehouse Airbnb might just be the South Carolina vacation you've been looking for.

Vacations should be fun. And in our opinion, it's almost impossible not to have a great time if you're in a treehouse. These whimsical stays allow us to shake things up and see things from a new perspective—quite literally—while sleeping among the treetops. And that's exactly why we've set our sights on this enchanting treehouse in Marion, SC. It's enveloped by 20 acres of private land, featuring towering hardwood trees and a nearby creek you can see and hear from the deck. It's the kind of place that invites you to rest, relax, and simply be.

Treehouse spaces are typically designed for just two guests, but Wren's Roost isn't your typical stay. With five beds and one full bathroom, it can comfortably sleep six guests, perfect for a family getaway. As your car pulls into the driveway, you and your crew will be transported into a wooded oasis, where the creek gently babbles by, and the sounds of nature surround you.

Take a look around and you may just be surprised by how spacious this cabin feels. Windows let in an abdunace of sun, and white walls reflect that beautiful, tree-filtered light. The furnishings are top quality, but feel decidedly homey and comfortable, lending the space a charmingly lived-in feel.

The owners have creatively designed a dedicated lofted sleeping area upstairs, which can sleep four on bunkbeds and two on a queen-sized bed. These cozy sleeping quarters are part of the charm; after all, you're sleeping in a treehouse!

The kitchen is outfitted with all the essentials, and there's a full bathroom inside. There's also an outdoor shower if you'd prefer more of a glamping feel.

Our favorite feature is the private deck, where you can gaze out to Catfish Creek, perhaps planning your kayak or canoe excursion for the day. There are a few walking trails on the property when you'd like to explore the woods. Or, if you'd rather stay put, there's cornhole, a hammock, and plenty of board games to keep you entertained. There's also a fire pit for gathering around in the evenings, waiting for the stars to light up the night sky.
