The Oregon Airbnb Where You Can Hear Rushing Falls Just Down the Street
Tucked into Oregon’s countryside, this charming farm stay Airbnb is just down the road from Abiqua Falls and a quick drive to Silver Falls State Park, making it an ideal base for nature lovers.
There are many things I love about Oregon, but its breathtaking waterfalls are at the top of my list. I never drive past Multnomah Falls without stopping, and Munson Creek Falls near Tillamook is one of my favorite hidden gems in the state. And yet, there is another gorgeous Oregon waterfall that inspires me—Abiqua Falls. This cascade is always on my itinerary when in this corner of the state, and I’ve recently discovered the dreamiest Airbnb near this waterfall trail in Oregon that is the perfect basecamp.
Why Is Abiqua Falls So Popular?

Abiqua Falls is a gorgeous 92-foot waterfall that tumbles into a natural pool surrounded by mossy rocks, basalt columns, and gorgeous trees. To see the falls in person, you'll need to put on your hiking boots, as there’s a short trail to conquer. The trail has a few steep inclines, with ropes to assist you on these challenging portions. You’ll also want to watch your step as roots do stick out of the trail, creating quite a tripping hazard. At the time of this writing, deals are in place for the state of Oregon to purchase the area and surrounding forest to turn it into a new park.
What Makes This Oregon Farm Stay Special
And while the Abiqua Falls Trail is a beautiful place to spend some time out in nature, and offers opportunities to slow down and relax, just down the road is another gem—a gorgeous farm stay Airbnb in Scott Mills, Oregon. This vacation rental has everything you need for quiet time in a secluded setting. You’ll get to sleep in a converted greenhouse that's peak coziness.
Designed for two guests, this is a romantic time away. As you walk inside this unique Airbnb, you’ll be met with plenty of comfy seats for deep conversations and lots of snuggles. Then, head up the stairs to the plush queen-size mattress. Please note that both the bathroom and kitchen are just a short walk away in the historic barn and stables.
After you chase the nearby waterfalls, you can then relax in the wood-burning hot tub, which is not dependent on electricity, and all wood and kindling for heating are provided. In such a beautiful setting, you’ll enjoy long soaks and plenty of peace and quiet. Let your worries of daily life wash away here, and just let nature’s sound and beauty, along with the hot water, heal your mind and body. You may even want to plan a nighttime soak, timing it perfectly so the starry sky can dance above you.
In addition to the hot tub, you are also welcome to walk around the farm, the many gardens, and the nearby trails. Because this Oregon Airbnb is in a rural location, Wi-Fi is inconsistent, creating the ideal space to disconnect and be present. Additionally, keep in mind that this is an adults-only Airbnb. You must climb stairs to reach the bedroom, there is a two-night minimum, and pets are not allowed due to the other animals on the farm.
