Welcome to the grounds of Custer's Cottage, an adorable, no-frills accommodation made up of two separate rental units.

You can, of course, always stay in there, but we learned that there's a little hidden gem on the grounds: a quaint little covered wagon campground!

Covered wagons were the original mobile home.

There are three to choose from, and each is sweet and simple. Pictured above is the authentic Shepherd's Wagon.

Then there's the Wooly Wagon.

This is an authentic old-school shepherd's wagon as well, much like what sheep herders would have utilized back in the days of roaming about to graze their flocks, and it's perfect for anyone who desires something with no fuss, no bells, no whistles - just peace and quiet (and trees).

Each wagon's got its own cute little bed with cozy linens included, as well as a fan inside for those days that get a bit warm.

There's a bathroom with a sink and shower in the same yard as the wagons are located.

The best news of all? The wagons are super affordable!

There's something about going back to old-school basics that is refreshing in an odd way.

Sometimes it's nice to unplug and unwind, and these cute little wagons are the perfect way to do so.
