Fall Is The Perfect Time To Plan A Trip To Gallatin River Lodge In Montana

The Gallatin River Lodge in Bozeman is a luxury hotel known for its beautiful fall scenery, historic charm, and popular onsite restaurant.

We're incredibly lucky to get to experience all four seasons here in Montana. Some of us prefer summer adventures, others live for snow sports... but we can all agree that autumn in the Treasure State is absolutely amazing. The Gallatin River Lodge has always been a go-to spot for enjoying the beautiful fall colors. Current conditions have forced them to take a short break, but as soon as they re-open, they're going to need our support.

The Gallatin River Lodge is located on the outskirts of Bozeman, where it has been a favorite destination of locals and out-of-state guests alike for decades.

In fact, it seems as if this property is always winning local awards.

It goes without saying that the Gallatin River is absolutely gorgeous in the fall.

There's nothing better than the time of year when the leaves start to turn and the air is nice and crisp.

The lodge itself also happens to be fantastic.

This is the original bar from the old Court Bar in Big Timber, which dates back to 1910. It's pretty fantastic to get to enjoy a real piece of the Old West.

The onsite restaurant is one of the most popular places to dine in Southwest Montana.

You don't have to be an overnight guest to enjoy a meal here, but they do have priority when it comes to seating.

The rotating menu utilizes fresh, local ingredients, and it shows.

Dinner is typically served nightly beginning at 5 p.m.

This is very much a luxury hotel, and the rooms reflect that.

No wonder guests who stay here once ending up falling in love and planning their next visit before they leave.

We love our small local businesses here in the Treasure State, and we can't wait until the Gallatin River Lodge opens its doors again.

There really is no other place in Montana like it.
