Book This Dreamy Brookside Campsite in Maine and You Won’t Be Disappointed
Planning a trip to the Acadia region? Experience a storybook overnight at this dreamy brookside campsite.
Do your upcoming travels include a trip to Acadia National Park? The more I learn about this magnificent place, the more I can’t wait to visit. And when I do, I plan to turn the trip into an unforgettable adventure. Amazing accommodations are an integral part of any journey and always enhance the overall experience. If you are looking to add a bit of fairy tale magic to your Acadia vacation, there is a dreamy campground called the Graham Cracker Cabin and Campsites in Waltham, Maine, an ideal spot to relax in nature and create special memories.
Your storybook stay begins along the banks of scenic Webb Brook, where nature surrounds your secluded campsite. The nine-acre Graham Cracker Cabin and Campsites are located only 35 minutes from Acadia National Park and 10 minutes from the charming town of Ellsworth. You can experience fantastic fishing, kayaking, and swimming at nearby Graham Lake.
The Graham Cracker Cabin and Campsites are a lovely place to relax and unplug. The campsite is pet-friendly, so you can even bring your dog along. Be prepared to encounter several of the resident “pets,” which include ducks, chickens, and even a friendly turkey.
This top-rated Maine campground offers various accommodations for your overnight stay. Pitch a tent at one of two serene brookside tent sites. The sound of the babbling water will lull you into a relaxing sleep at the Anglers Delight site. Or if you are up for a little stargazing, reserve the Stargazers Retreat Tent Site and perhaps catch a glimpse of the Milky Way.
If you don’t feel like bringing your own tent, you can opt to sleep at one of the campground’s two bell tent sites. Each tent sleeps up to six people and includes beds and linens. The Saw Miller Slumber tent site is a brookside tent located next to a historic saw mill. The Webb Brook Belle tent is a larger tent that offers panoramic views of the water and forest.
However, my top choice of campsite is the rustic Graham Cracker Cabin. This cozy Hemlock cottage is like something out of a fairytale. With a living and dining area, a loft bedroom, and a woodstove, the cabin is the perfect place to camp in comfort. The Graham Cracker cabin features both a queen-size bed and a convertible full-size bed, making it a wonderful choice for families seeking additional space.
Although each site offers comfortable accommodations, the campground still embodies the true rustic spirit of camping. While there are firepits, picnic tables, and grills for cooking, the sites do not have electricity, wi-fi, or plumbing (with the exception of the cabin, which has a composting toilet). However, the area does receive good cell service, so you won’t need to completely unplug.
Are you ready to book your storybook campsite? All five of these fantastic campsites can be reserved through the Graham Cracker Cabin Hipcamp link. Have you stayed at this scenic campground before? If so, please tell us all about your experience. For more accommodations near Acadia, check out the cozy Whitetail Cottage in Trenton and the Wild Blueberry fishing cabin in Eastbrook.
