Stay Overnight At This Spectacularly Unconventional Treehouse In Kentucky

EarthJoy Tree Adventures offers unique treehouse accommodations and outdoor activities in Kentucky.

As a kid, did you ever look out your bedroom window and dream about a treehouse in your own backyard? Or maybe you were lucky enough to actually have one? Many children dream of having a magical hideout in the trees and in some ways, this fantasy never goes away. When you need to truly get away and relax, a cabin in the trees sounds pretty appealing, and there are several spots throughout the Bluegrass where you can make this dream a reality. This spectacularly unconventional treehouse in Kentucky is located on the property of EarthJoy TREE Adventures in Brooksville, outside of Germantown. It's a unique overnight experience in a beautiful area of our state and it may be the adventure you've been looking for.

EarthJoy Tree Adventures is a lovely, 200-acre property that sits near both August and Maysville.

EarthJoy hosts tree climbing and other outdoor adventures, but they also offer three unique treehouses where you can spend the night. The Aliyah is shown above and it's the most "off the grid" of the three.

You can quite literally sleep in the trees in this treehouse in Kentucky and make all of your childhood dreams come true.

When checking out this treehouse, it's as if the builder took advice from a 10-year-old and designed the quintessential hideout in the trees. The main cabin is connected to a bedroom by a magical bridge and the entire structure is wonderfully tucked amongst the branches and leaves.

The inside of this unconventional accommodation may surprise you with its modern features that sleep 6 (ideally 4 adults and 2 kids).

First of all, you can't miss the massive red oak that climbs right through the living space. It's surrounded by modern furnishings including a couch, kitchen area, and many other comforts of home. The kitchenette has dishes and silverware for enjoying that campfire meal, as well as a water jug for washing up.

Although off the grid, the Aliyah does offer both heat and air, but it does not have running water.

There's a compost toilet nearby for quick pit stops, but there's also a private bathhouse that you can walk or drive to that offers running water, a flushing toilet, and a shower. Outside of the treehouse, relax in a hammock in the morning and end your day with a fire that illuminates your home away from home.

During a stay, you are free to explore the property and you'll definitely want to!

There are hiking trails, creeks, a fishing pond, and magical little spots that explorers of all ages will enjoy. You will soon forget about technology and the stress of everyday life with each moment spent in this natural playground.

Take your adventure to the next level and book an experience with the staff during your stay.
