Welcome to the historic and beautiful Beaumont Hotel, a spot with a little bit of everything, all in one place.

Though this Kansas hotel was built long before, in 1948, the owner decided to turn some of his property here into an airstrip to accommodate a pilot who needed to land his plane on the property.

Historically, Beaumont became a railroad town in 1879, and was once an important shipping point in the Flint Hills area.

Today, you can view the 25,000-gallon wooden Frisco water tower, Twin Beech, and even a walking tour that'll take you through the rest of the attractions here.

Not only is this a beautiful place to stay for a while, but you can also fly here for your visit.

Pilots who fly in receive a special discount on breakfast and if you spend the night, on your room rate as well!

As for places to stay, there are multiple options here! You can stay in ultimate comfort at the hotel...

When it comes to dining, Beaumont is a fantastic spot for homestyle eats that any Kansan would recognize.

Delicious menu options include prime rib hot beef sandwiches, chicken fried steak, and homemade pie make our top 10 for sure.

The café and restaurant are open Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., for dinner, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for breakfast and lunch, then again from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., for dinner, and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for breakfast and lunch.

Meal time is very busy here so reservations are suggested. And be sure to bring your appetite!
