This Tiny Crab Shack Hidden In South Carolina Is A Gem For Fresh Seafood

When you're craving crabs fresh from the sea, there are only two ways of getting your hands on them: go catch them yourself - or find someone who has already done that part of the task. The good news is, not only can you find fresh crabs at this hidden crab shack in South Carolina, they'll also cook 'em for you before you take 'em home.

Charlie Brown's Seafood Kitchen is also a fresh seafood market. And the kitchen is always at the ready to cook up your crabs before you carry them home for the feast.

This to-go kitchen is the best spot in the Lowcountry to find cooked-to-order crabs.

Here's how it works:

You pop into this fresh seafood market and decide how many crabs you want (or in my case, need). You can then opt to have the kitchen cook them for you for a nominal fee, and then you get to carry them out for eating.

Want a modified Frogmore Stew with crabs added?

You only have to ask at Charlie Brown's, because they aim to please! Bring home a huge, steaming pan of crabs, shrimp and sausage (shown above) for a meal to remember.

Most people find the prices for all of the fresh seafood very reasonable.

Charlie Brown's is a fresh seafood market AND a To-Go kitchen. So just bring a cooler with some ice (to keep them alive until you get them in the water/steamer) and you can take them home and cook them yourself.
