13 Places In Pennsylvania Where You Can Get The Most Mouth Watering Pie
Oh my, pie! Pennsylvania is no stranger to delicious desserts, and there’s no denying how excellent our bakeries are. If you are in need of a sweet treat, here are 13 awesome places in Pennsylvania where you can find mouth watering pie.
(Note: we saved our favorite Whoopie Pies for a whole other list…they deserve their own moment in the spotlight.)

There’s simply no competition for the Butterscotch Bourbon Pie at Magpie. This custard pie is absolutely to die for, and you can even enjoy it in “shake” form – they blend it with vanilla ice cream to make an even sweeter treat.

You can find Magpie Artisan Pies at 1622 South St., Philadelphia, PA

You’ll find some delicious down-home cooking at Bingham’s…but we’re big fans of the dessert. The Raspberry Pie is particularly excellent, but when President Obama visited Bingham’s in 2013, he went straight for the Coconut Cream Pie.

Bingham's is located at 6092 State Rt. 92, Lenox, PA

You were expecting this list to be filled with bakeries, weren’t you? This Southern BBQ joint has some excellent food all around…but their Pecan Pie is stellar. The Grasshopper Pie, which is covered in a mound of homemade marshmallow, is another delicious option and is definitely big enough to share.

Visit Percy Street Barbecue at 900 South St. Philadelphia, PA

Just as the name implies: the Shoo-Fly Pie is the star here (but the root beer is pretty excellent as well). Skip the touristy shop and stick to the bakery; this is one pie you don’t want to miss.

Dutch Haven is located at 2857 Lincoln Hwy E. Ronks, PA

Sure, they are famous for their unbelievably delicious doughnuts, but this old-school Amish bakery at Reading Terminal excels in just about everything they make. If you can tear your eyes away from the dozens of doughnuts, you really must try the pie. Shoofly Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Fruit Pies…they’ve got you covered.

Beiler's Bakery can be found inside Reading Terminal at 51 N 12th St. Philadelphia, PA

This shop makes it very clear what their specialty is: PIE! They don’t sell by-the-slice, but they have perfectly sized mini pies for almost of their delicious flavors.

You can find just about anything at the Lancaster Central Market – the oldest farmers market in the country – including some excellent Amish Shoo-fly pie.

Lancaster Central Market is located at 23 N Market St. Lancaster, PA

The Banana Cream Pie from Eleven is about to become your new favorite dessert. Eleven is a pretty fancy spot, so you may want to save this one for a special occasion…or just drop by for dessert.

Eleven is located at 1150 Smallman St. Pittsburgh, PA

This delightful bakery has been cranking out piping hot pies since 1972, so they have had plenty of time to perfect their recipes.

The Pumpkin Pies are excellent, but we’re really looking forward to rhubarb season (any day now!) for a taste of our favorite.

542 Gibbons Rd. Bird-In-Hand, PA

Oh my, my…now this is some excellent pie. This bakery is packed full of delicious goodies, but our favorite is their Apple Pie.

You can find them at 13 Broad St., Delaware Water Gap, PA

Have you heard of a “Pumapple Cake”? Listen up, because you need to know about this fantastic Frankenstein dessert: one slice of pumpkin pie baked into a layer of chocolate cake, one slice of apple pie baked into a layer of yellow cake and covered in frosting. We know it’s not your traditional pie…but it’s delicious.

Flying Monkey Bakery is in Reading Terminal at 12th St. & Arch St. Philadelphia, PA

This delicious pie shop will ship their tasty treats across the country, so if you want to send a former Pennsylvanian friend a nostalgic, delicious pie (or if you just want to brag to your out-of-state friends, McClure’s is the place to go.

You can find these McClure's Pie at 18 Newport Pike, Gap, PA

These guys don’t just stick with dessert – their savory pies are just as delicious (try the Chicken Pot Pie)! Their Triple Berry Pie is fantastic, as is just about every flavor here. Yum!

You may have seen their food truck around, but their storefront is located at 132 W. State St. Kennett Square, PA
Aside from these tasty spots, you can find delicious pies driving along nearly any road through Amish country – the farm stands are incredible!
