Meg Archer

Meg Archer (She/Her) is Only In Your State’s Engagement Editor and Newsletter Manager and has called the West Coast home since day one. She spent 20+ years exploring the magnificent mountains, forests, and high deserts of Central Oregon before relocating to Portland in 2015 to expand her Pacific Northwest adventures into exciting new territory. Meg holds a B.A. in English from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo and a B.S. in Psychology from Portland State University. She has worked in writing, editing, and media-related fields for 15 years and joined the Only In Your State team in 2015. When she’s not writing or exploring, Meg enjoys reading, playing tabletop games, and working on creative projects. She can always be found in the front row at Portland Timbers matches, firing up the rowdy crowd as a volunteer Capo.
