You Can Drink Wine With Horses And Donkeys At Blue Barn Winery In Ohio
Sometimes, the view is just as important as the wine itself. If you enjoy exploring Ohio’s Wine Country, there’s one northeast Ohio winery that belongs at the top of your bucket list. Blue Barn Winery in Wooster, Ohio features wide open pastures, a gorgeous setting and exceptional wines. From the inside-out, it’s absolutely stunning. (Not to mention the surrounding area itself.) When it opens for the season, you’re certainly going to want to visit.

You'll find it on Columbus Road in Wooster, Ohio.

You can choose from Reserve Red, Wooster Red, Wooster White, Barn Dance Red, Barn Dance White, Rumspringa Rose and Buckeye Berry.

Hours of operation are Friday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Fontanna (pictured) was imported from Austria and used as a brood mare by an Amish horse breeder for 18 years before Blue Barn Winery rescued her.

Please note: Do not feed the animals during your visit.

You'll even find a collection of primitive tools and artifacts on display.

Before you leave, take some time to admire the craftsmanship of this 1860s Dutch-built barn.
