Few people realize that there are more than 150 wineries hiding right here in the Buckeye State—which can make it hard to know where the best ones are. All across the state, you’ll find some amazing wines and family-owned vineyards that are picture perfect. We’ve designed a day trip that features some of our favorites, giving you a taste of some of Ohio’s very best wines.

This locally owned and operated winery has traditional Italian roots, which just makes the wine (and the food) that much more special. This quaint winery has an unforgettable setting. It's the perfect place to stop and rest for awhile. Harpersfield Winery is an Ashtabula County gem. You'll find it at 6387 State Route 307 West, Geneva, OH 44041.
